The Author

Pat J. Murphy

Pat J. Murphy is the founder of Fitamatic, LLC and the author of Prophecy, first published on Apple Books in March 2016. Prophecy is an interactive book, best read on an iPad, iPhone or Mac, where its 3D starships, space stations and worlds animate on the page.

Some of the characters were inspired by the author’s own family and their personalities. Above all, Maria Maravilla is at her core a Latina woman who loves fashion, is emotional, and has a lovely and complex personality.

A note to Hollywood

The story has everything needed for a good movie. It’s believable and tangible, and all the technology in it is very probable for the future. It is positive, with religious connotations and a very good ending that should leave you crying and very happy.

From the dedication
